The two biggest academic offences you can commit are cheating on an exam, and plagiarism. Both, in my view, should lead to expulsion, and be forewarned, that if your application ever crosses my path, it will be rejected with prejudice (i've been asked to sit on both DDS and MD ADCOMMs at times). I would say that 90% of the administrators and admission committee participants in the health care field would wholeheartedly agree with me.
Dude, wtf?! You know, I've met people like you before, super-intense about cheating, etc. The one common denominator i've found in all of them is that they were all made fun of/had no friends in high school. I swear! I'm not saying this because i think you're a tool.

So, Greg, somebody makes a stupid mistake once, and their f'd for life, huh? Is that how the world should work? No, that's not how the world works, and it's because most "administrators and admission committee participants" are NOT self-righteous monkey-boys like yourself.

Greg, maybe one day you'll make a dumb mistake, or maybe one of your kids will, and you'll realize that the words you speak today are the words of a douchebag.

Hey guys,
I didn’t expect this forum to turn out to be all out war, but I think I got a say in this. Maybe to some people hearts and mind, I am the scumbag of the earth and deserve nothing for what I have done. And they could be true.
But I faced my situation respectfully and did what I could to redeem myself, and that was telling the truth. I was honest with everyone I met, and didn’t lie myself to get out of this. I accepted the consequences and life goes on. And believe me dealing with this situation has already been a heartache for me as I have to inform my family and friends of my situation.
Now about the speeding and cheating, I don’t know how this got started and how is this relevant to my situation, but I will take a speeding ticket anytime to get out of my situation.
There is still no update on my situation. But I thank everyone that have replied and gave helpful info (even the ones with criticism). I will try the calling dental school, and let you guys know what I find out.

comparing cheating to speeding is ridiculous. they're nowhere near the same thing.

this guy cheated - plain and simple - and should be punished severely for it.

Let's stone him in front of the whole village! And then we'll throw rotten cabbage and tomatoes at him!!
