I only had one response and didn't even think twice when the others didn't. Also, I got accepted to schools that wrote thank you notes for and ones that I didn't! Don't panic 🙂

For my first two interviews, one I sent cards and the other I did emails. I asked a question about some wilderness medicine book they told me to read in one of the emails so I panicked when I got no responses, especially that one. I got in at both though so I really don't think it is something to worry about. I've been sending cards after that though bc then I don't worry about responses.

Only if they reject you.

WTF Goro!!!
It'd be creepy as **** if he kept all his thank you letters as a shrine to the neurotic premed who actually brings thank you cards with them and hand-writes them the day of.
I throw away written notes, but perversely, will respond to an email.
Don't worry Goro, I delete all my emails from schools as to pretend I have any power in this process. If it's not in my inbox anymore, did UCSF really reject me?

Doesn't have to keep them but at least read them before throwing them out...which I realize now he/she (?) never said he/she dosent do lol....

Some do, some don't. I've been accepted to schools where the interviewers never responded. It's not a sign of whether you'll be accepted, really. But, I like to still write thank you letters as a courtesy.

This. Write them only if your mama taught you to be polite.

There is a pre-med delusion that somehow it will affect the interview response, which it will not.
