Do med schools know how many times you took the MCAT??

Once you release your MCAT scores to them (as you have to do when you apply) they will know how many times you took the MCAT and your scores.
 
If you end up having to take it 10 times, you'll be so demoralized by the experience you won't want to go to med school.;)

Seriously, they do know about all the times you took it.

Yeah thats true 10 times is a lil to much! I think the best you can do it hit it big on the 1st shot.

Unfortunately yes to both. And now I think people will be taking mcat's >3x b/c now there are no limits as to how many times you can take the mcat (aside from 3/year).
