Do medical students ever fear failing out of med school or having to withdraw?

Hi OP. In general, this isn't a huge problem for medical students at US MD or DO schools as the fail out rate is relatively low. This is one reason it's so hard to get into US medical schools, if you get in the school genuinely thinks you'd do ok with their curriculum and the boards. Also, most schools have pretty decent support options to help their students who are struggling. That being said, this is not true at certain international schools where the failure rate is quite high.
