Do nutrition classes that address biochemical aspects of human nutrition count towards your science gpa (which is what BCPM is right?)?

If it says BIOL 3XXX/4XXX Human Nutrition, then I would expect they take it. However, if its like Kinesiology or nursing department they maybe wont.

For me they counted a kinesiology department anatomy course and a scientific writing course taken in the biology department as BCPM. I think its pretty Lax as long as the department matches.

most likely, and also you can message the school your adviser to double check. AMCAS/TMDSAS etc.. and the school advisers have a comprised list of classes that count toward certain GPA's but they don't list it out for people, that's why it's better to ask them personally to check

I am a Nutrition major. All my nutrition classes (with a nutrition designator) all went into BCPM.

I was a nutrition major as well. I originally classified half of them as science, AMCAS "corrected" them, then i challenged their corrections, gave them the course descriptions etc. My nutritional biochem classes then went towards science, whereas my nutritional policy, nutrition in the elderly, etc. classes didn't

how hard was it to "challenge" them?
i'm a bit concerned because my research is listed under "medicine"

it's easy, you just do it through the amcas, list the classes you want changed, and put the course descriptions/syllabi
