do NYU students get to keep the instruments that they paid for or do they have to return them after graduation? Thank you. 🙂

If you pay for something you should be able to keep it. At marquette we buy a high and a low speed with attacments, a desk top hand piece, along with a bunch of other odds and ends(materials for assignments) typodonts ect. . We check out operative and periodontal kits from sterilization which we don't keep. I am sure there will be some stuff you will be able to keep and use in the future, there will also be some stuff you could keep but will probably through away. Good Luck.

I'm pretty sure nyu students DON'T keep their instruments. Its a "lease" and not a "purchase". Thats why.

No, the only thing you keep is your curing light. You pay to borrow the instruments and at the end of your second year, you return all the instruments and they are all used in the clinics.
