do programs require step 2 CS score to rank?

So im about to be a 4th yr. I hav good stats & all but can't take my comlex pe (same as step 2 cs) until late jan '10 d/t no open slots until then. will EM programs not interview me or not rank me because of this?? I'll have step 2 ck done by end of jun this yr. help!?

They should interview you. Some (unknown numbers) will not rank people who haven't passed CS (or Comles PE) by ROL submission time.

If this is gonna be an issue; you'd be well served to mention it during interviews or at least ask the PDs about it.

Not to highjack but what about ck. I'm not scheduled to take until feb. Do some schools require ck for interviews or to rank?

Is there a reason why you're taking it so late? Most applicants will have a passing score or at least have taken CK by the time interviews come around.

Just happens that I'm doing most my rotations in the first half of the year. Is this a problem?

Thanks for the comment. Im thrilled to say that an opening popped up for the end of this month so it won't be a problem!!
