Do PT or PTA volunteers/interns get drug tested?

Hey guys aspiring PTA here..I need to do some volunteer work before I apply for a PTA program..I was wondering if I will be drug tested at all if I want to do volunteer work at a clinic? Have you guys been tested at all when you did your volunteering or internship?

How did you know you were not going to be tested? Did they say in the application ? Or did they tell you?

I think I asked or they told me. I wasn't concerned about it. They just made sure I had all my shots. Just to be safe, make sure you are clean before you start.

So were you tested or no? and I'm looking at PT clinics compared to hostipals ..because I know a lot hostipals test a lot.

When I was volunteering at a hospital they didn't test, but I did get tested when I became an intern at the same hospital.
