Do schools call the optometrists you shadow to confirm your shadowing?

I have alot of shadowing hours, I'm just wondering if schools actually look into these deeply and call the Optometrists directly to confirm your time with them?

I doubt it, but you'll likely get a question about your experience shadowing during the interview.

No. They will want to talk to you extensively about it at the interview most likely, and it's probably not a good idea to start your professional career being less than honest.
