Do schools give interviews to people who haven't met all the prereqs?

I apologize for starting a new post. I can't change the title of my previous post related to prerequisites. I have simplified my question so hopefully it's not confusing anymore!
Okay my question is:
If I'm still missing one or two courses for certain schools, will the schools consider giving me an interview? I didn't tell the schools that these courses are planned/in progress.
I might be missing one Physiology course because some schools are still deciding whether my engineering physiology course is an equivalent. If that's the case, will I still be considered for interviews? Ideally, I don't want to take the course now - I'd like to be accepted somewhere first before investing a semester for taking this one course (I already graduated so I'm not in school).
Thank you very much.

Yes, schools may still offer you invites, even if you don't have the pre-reqs. I'm missing 2 courses for Michigan, and I was invited.

However, I think you have to indicate it in your in progress/planned section.

+1

You can update your progress/planned part on the AADSAS in November.

Most schools require you to complete your courses before matriculating, while others, like Penn, wants you to finish the prereqs by the end of the spring semester. You can ask the schools about their policy during the interview.

if you have declared your intention to complete those courses before your matriculation next year, they will consider you.

if you don't declare them as planned/in progress, they won't even take a look at your application.

if you are offered an interview, your acceptance is contingent on successfully completing those prereqs.

Okay that's really worrying.
I'm starting to think that I actually don't meet the gen chem requirement for most schools (ie 8 credits).
I took a first year gen chem with lab at U of T then a second year gen chem at U of W. The second year gen chem did not have a lab component.
I had the option of taking another first year gen chem with lab at U of W but silly me, at that time, thought that if I took a almost-identical first year course again, it'd be a waste of time and look bad on my app.
Now I feel real silly. I don't want to go back to school for one sem just to do a first year gen chem with lab. I already know everything.
On the other hand, my biochem course has a lab component. I'm wondering if the universities would consider that...
Anyway, I'm FREAKING out. should i even contact the schools to explain?

I'm missing 2 ochem, 1 gchem, 1bio, biochem buncha labs. average stats, 2 interviews. It's not a big deal just wait a few weeks.

Thank you, fujin. Did you have those courses in your planned/in progress section though on AADSAS?
I didn't put any course in the planned/in progress section, because I don't want to take a first year chem course with lab when I already know everything (my biochem lab was pretty intense, too). I just dont know if they are gonna be flexible with it (use my biochem lab to fulfill second lab requirement) or if they're gonna see this as an excuse to not look over my app.
AHHHHHH :scared::scared::scared:😱😱😱

I didn't put down some of the pre reqs, I'm missing a unit here and there even with planned courses, schools are flexible about these things, good luck!

IMO you should've put down a bunch of planned courses just to be safe. I mean, if you don't get an interview anyways, then the school won't give a damn whether or not you complete any courses. If you DO get an interview, however, then it's worth it to take the courses.

Besides, the schools understand that plans can change; you can update them in the academic update next month I believe, and as long as you end up completing their pre-reqs with average grades (70% or so), they probably couldn't care less.

I'm missing 1/2 a year of Physics and 1/2 to a full year of English (my only English credit was a credit/no credit, pass/fail sort of thing so I'm doing a full year just in case) and for the most part schools have told me they don't care. Two interviews so far from schools who definitely will want me to complete these courses.

Yeah, I'm gonna do that in November.

Yep.

I've already since changed one English course I'm going to take, so I'll update that in November. And I also signed up for two physics courses, one at my home school and one at Ryerson. Not sure which one I'll take.

Basically I signed up for as much as I could and figured I could always drop things later. But I certainly can't add things later as courses full up and deadlines pass. Better to be safe than sorry.

Not true. I have an interview from one of the schools although I am missing a course, and I haven't declared it as in-progress. I think it depends on the school.

Yeah, I got an interview from a school that requires anatomy. I didn't have it as planned, but they did ask when I would complete it if I were to be accepted. I don't think it is a big deal, just make sure you get them done.
