Do schools take the aDAT over the cDAT if you took both?

I'm assuming you mean the American DAT v. the Canadian DAT. I'm sure almost all American schools require the American DAT.

i checked a bunch of websites (ie. columbia "Do you accept the Canadian DAT?
Yes, but we prefer the U.S. DAT"

but I would just like to know if they still look at the cDAT on top of the aDAT

if you taken both American and Canadian DATs, then you got all your bases covered. i think they would look at the American one since this would enable them to compare apples and apples, so to say. call them up if you are losing sleep over this.
