Do secondaries have to be paragraphs? Or can take more liberties with format?

What I'm getting at is, say a school asks "Why us?", I was thinking of writing something along the lines of:

[Short Intro paragraph]

1. XYZ Program
-XYZ brings together abc, which relates to me doing efg, etc.

2. Med School's Innovation in AAA
-This is particularly etc. etc.

3. Focus on community medicine program BBB
-My time volunteering at --- made me realize how important ----etc.

[A few concluding remarks]

--

So can I take more liberties like that to present the information? I'd rather do something like this to highlight key things rather than blend it all into drawn out paragraphs

I dont understand why you can't just write a paragraph for each of these things instead of a numbered list. It seems odd to me

If it fits, it's fine to present your reasons as outlined.
