DO Shadowing in Arizona?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I was in similar situation in Oregon. I just google local physicians, and made a list of DOs (by speciality) and cold called them/dropped off letters of interest. Within weeks, I had quite a few call-backs.
I did simiar thing for MDs also, so out of approx 60 letters, I ended up shadowing 4 physicians in different specialities (other than EM).
I was also very clear in my letter about the duration of shadowing I sought, i.e. a day vs actual time investment, and 2 of them permitted me do 60+ hours with them in two weeks they did not have medical students trailing them.

I did this exact same thing and it worked for me. I currently shadow an MD and a DO.

osteopathic.org you can search for DO physicians by state. There is a tab that says "find a DO"

You can call the osteopathic school for assistance as usually doctors who teach also take students/ pre-meds to shadow.

Does anybody know of any DO's that allow shadowing?
If so, will you contact me please...Im in need of some assistance!

There are plenty around willing to help, I had no problem👍

To actually find DOs to send letters too just go to websites of local hospitals and search for doctors by specialty and go through the list until you find DOs

They'll be a lot of them under anesthesiology, IM, FM, EM and other DO heavy specialties
