I've been doing postbacc coursework for the past year and plan to apply to SMPs this coming Jan.
I ask because this past semester I received B's in two key courses, Genetics and Cell Biology and I'm worried that it may hinder my chances of getting into an SMP.
However, I have been averaging 18-19 units per semester and was wondering if they might take that into consideration.
My postbacc GPA is a 3.75 over some 61 semester units.
My cumulative gpa is 3.0 overall and 3.06 science. I still have a year of coursework that I plan to take before I start my SMP so hopefully the totals will be higher.
I'm taking the MCAT in Aug.
