Do the aamc practice test grade harder than actual?

Hey guys, do the aamc practice test grade harder than the actual test? There scoring system seems a little harsh compared to some of the others (like kaplan etc). By the number I get right, it would appear that I should get a little bit higher than I am getting.

No one knows except the AAMC. They only provide your scaled score. However, most people do score within range of their AAMC FL scores.

As SN2ED said, no one knows for sure. But after writing twice I definitely think they have to be marking the real deal easier as it is most certainly more difficult than the AAMC practices. A lot of people say it is because you are more nervous on the test day, but I doubt that is the only factor. It was very obvious on both my test days that the passages were harder/ required more insight for SOME of the questions (most were on par with AAMC). So it probably is scaled a little easier.
