Do the secondry now or wait?

Hey guys...I applied very late for this cycle....My AADSAS application was sent sep.3o. Oct. 2oth I heard back from nova asking to do the secondary. Have not taken the DAT yet....I know I know , taking it on Dec.18th. Should I send the secondary now or wait and see how I do on DAT?
How long does it take for schools to recieve the secondary, since it could be online, would it be prettey fast?
UF also was the only school that did not request the secondary yet but inquiered about my DAT and wanted me to cantact them to give them an up-date? Any thoughts or advice? This is my first time applying...I'm not sure what's the best thing to do? Thanks for your input in advance....

Try to get them done as soon as possible.

Send that secondary in right away if you think you're going to do decently on the DAT. I took the DAT on this date last year, and applied on the 17th, and I managed to get in, so I'll definitely say that the cards are stacked against you in a large manner, but still possible to get in to school's that don't mind your DAT being that late.

I understand you are trying to encourage the OP and pump in some optimism. But iis more important to inform the OP of the dire position taht he is in because he applied late rather than giving him false hopes.

Haha, thanks, naw, I've had this for a while, but you're right, I think someone else is using it too, but that's cool, it's an awesome avatar. I think I've actually seen the guy in the picture when I was in Times Square in New York, haha.

And to VCU, I did say that "the cards are stacked against you in a big way," so by no means was I trying to say it would be easy, or even likely - I was saying it's possible. I understand your point, but it would be much more worthwhile to the thread to simply state the point instead of sending shot across my bow. To the OP, if you hadn't already send your original application in, I'd probably suggest you'd wait until next year, but since you've already gone ahead with it, it's very important that you get all of your forms in right away so that they can have your file ready to go when they get your DAT scores. Realize that your chances of getting in are quite a bit lower than that of someone with your same grades/scores who applied in June, but it's not outside of the realm of possibilities.

Good luck, and keep on keeping on, if you don't get in this year, just know that you'll be ready for your app next June.
