Do they automatically mail MCAT scores to your house?

So I got my scores online, and I did a lot worse than expected (fml etc.). I don't want my parents to see my scores and I gave them my home address when I signed up. Do they automatically mail scores to your house? Or is the only place the score is located online in the THx scoring system thing?

Btw I'm not being a jerk to my parents or anything, I'd just much rather tell them myself in person when I see them in a week.

Yes, it's like Publisher's Clearinghouse, but instead of a big check they present you with a big print out of your scores - I think Ed McMahon still does it.

I believe they do, I wrote it a number of years ago...but this may have changed...

Honestly, they did not mail my scores to me for the two times I took the exam (7/31 and 9/10). I have my own PO box so I would see it if they sent it.

I would not worry about it, but maybe some other people can chime in about their recent experiences.

I'm like 90% sure they DON'T send ANY scores. It even says it on Thx... the system is meant to make it all online.

They do not send out score reports. You must go to THx on the website and get your score there. You're pre-med advisor and any schools you applied to receive your score electronically. Depending on your advisor's policies are for credentialing, you may have to print off an official score report from THx and give to him/her.
