I didnt do so well on some of my pre-reqs (like a B- in stats, phys)
I was planning on taking a higher level to improve my mark, but u of A apparantly doesn't look at pre-req GPA anymore.

I am wondering if you guys have any info on this? would you re-take them? i dont want to waste my time on courses i hate haha, when i could be taking intersting biology courses.

Thanks!

why would pre-req gpa not be looked at anymore?
it's probably different for each school but im sure pre-req gpa carries some weight no matter where you go

yeah thats what i thought... but since UofA changd their policies I thought maybe other schools have too.
so yo uare saying they calculate 3 GPAS?
cumilative, science and pre-req?

AADSAS will calculate cumilative, science, and BCP with 2 categories, one with +/- and one without +/-. All schools look and consider certain GPA's more so than others, there really isnt a universal answer. Thats why they dissect your gpa 6 different ways.

thank you for he information🙂

I am just confused whether i should retake them or not, because I plan to persue a Pre-Dental Post-baccalaureate Program to raise my GPA, or get my masters inBiomedical Sciences.

Unless you failed a pre-req taking it again because you made a B- and then REPEATING it again with a A+ will not show improvement. What will show improvement is taking higher level science courses, like you will in the post-bacc and masters program.
