Or should I get rid of all my level 1 books?

Depending on what books you have, you may want to revisit it anyway for prep and after step 2. I often open up my pathoma/goljan book, I have used BRS physiology more during 4th year than i ever imagined, still read a lot from the "clinic x made ridiculously simple" stuff, etc. I wish i still had access to the pathoma videos. i used first aid for my psych shelf, but i have never touched it again, so that book is largely worthless in my mind.

The short answer is no, you don't. I started out by reviewing some step 1 material but was reminded about how non-clinical and incapable some of the minutia becomes (i.e. serum GFAP for a glioblastoma from an academic perspective) - pick a base like Step Up to Step 2 and use it to get a more clinically summary. You can always refer back to First Aid but I barely did.

I just keptsaverese, pathoma and first aid for reference. Rest is donated
