Do we need fellowship training in stroke to be eligible for telestroke jobs?

The requirements that I have seen are either you have a stroke/neurocritical care fellowship or work experience taking stroke call.

I think that at least some of these practices now also hire people with neurohospital experience for virtual inpatient neuro consults (i.e non acute stroke). If you can read EEGs that also helps.

It depends upon your job but if your residency training was good you do not need a fellowship
