Do you actually like your premed courses?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Saying you enjoy chemistry and calculus is one thing, but to hate on statistics too! Man, you just crossed the line.

not gonna lie, stats was the lamest course I had to take, its just compiling/organizing/analyzing data... why not let a computer do it.

And for courses I nearly s*** my pants every time I went to genetics. That class was amazing, I think it also helped that my professor was a harvard grad, and would lightly mention all his nobel prize winning friends like it was no biggie 😱

I enjoyed Cell bio quite a bit. I was pretty disappointed in genetics though as it was one of the classes I looked forward to the most. The prof was horrible and the tests were (while I'm not complaining too much - it made for an easy A) pretty basic. I think genetics are fascinating so I was really hoping to go into more detail and external applications (even just as examples in the lecture).

I LOVED physiology. I was a bit disappointed though because we had to cram everything into one semester of course so it led to sort of rushing thorugh each topic, taking the test, then rushing through the next rather than spedign time really going into each topic and how it applies and takign time to really absorb and expand on it. But that's just going to happen in a college class I suppose. There's always self-reading to do.

I have only taken Chem I, Chem II, Bio I and Bio II. I really liked all of those classes besides Chem II. I took an Ethics course the same semester and actually enjoyed that class more.
