Do late applicants get interview invites in March and April?
If so, do they still get accepted?
I am waiting for the interview invite from Howard and worried that I might not get one any time soon.
what do you guys think?

hey jack...if I remember correctly, you were Korean-Canadian, right? If so, please be aware that Howard is a primarily African-American university, and thus they prefer African-American students. If you are not African-American, then they choose students who have hopes (and can prove) that they are willing to serve the underserved. If you havent done this, dont expect to hear anything from Howard.

Being from Canada, Im sure you saw their average GPA and thought it was an easy acceptence, but there was more to the story than you originally thought.

ALso, if I recall, you got numerous acceptences to universities, but had loan problems....why would Howard be any different? Take what you got!

A lot of late applicants do get the interviews in March or April or even later. Dental schools will accept students up until school starts if their class isn't full. I know last year students were still getting accepted in August.

avingupta: yes, I had loan problems.. I believe Howard dental school is cheaper than any private schools out there. I actually believe I will enjoy 4 years at Howard If I can make it. Too bad we can't be classmates. Which school did you decide to attend?
