I'm waitlisted at Marquette and UConn and I'm just wondering if I should forget about them. It's already really late. Historically, has anyone been accepted off the waitlist after mid June?

It is my understanding that they may accept anyone off a waitlist all the way up to the first week of classes. Chances of this happening, however, I would think is rare. The only reason that this may happen is if a student does not show up for orientation, or pay their tuition bill I guess.
