Do you have a resume for dental school? Has it ever come in handy?... I'm in the process of doing one.. and I am wondering if this is necessary? Did any of you bring them to the interview?

no...trust me, you dont need it. You should be able to talk about your accomplishments and activities off the top of your head

Although you do not need a resume for the interview, preparing one can be helpful in other ways. It can help you organize experiences that you will eventually put on your application. I gave a copy of my resume to my letter of recommendation writers to give them extra ammunition for their letter.

I don't think it's a waste of time because you essentially are doing exactly what you will be doing when you fill out the actual application. Having made a resume prior to filling out my application made it easier to complete it. I think it helped.

or you could just re-read your aadsas application (from reading the op's post I'm under the impression he/she has already applied and has an interview?)

nope, I am going apply come May, but there are a lot of things at my school (like graduate/medical school fairs) that I thought it would be helpful to have a resume for...

Personally I find the existence of a resume very very useful. Not only for the people interviewing you (who actually need to see whom they receive at their courses), but for me, as a professional. You can find cv samples in here. Also, taking into account you're handing this in academic purposes, enhance your previous educational background and achievements.
Good luck!

oh okay, then i that case....yes... i did that and actually submitted it to my hpac committee at my school and found it very handy when filling out my apps...i would totally do, it would make filling out your apps easy...but i didn't use it after i submitted my apps... i just printed out my aadsas

I made one just to give to the faculty writting my letters of rec.

Yeah, just to give my interviewers the most up to date info. My aadsas app is 4 or 5 months old now.
