At the risk of asking people to divulge their secret strategies, I was wondering if people had examples of juicy questions to ask PDs and residents along the interview trail. (Maybe the more "senior" members of the Board can help if current interviewees are shy.)
Yes, of course, I am interested in questions that show interviewers that I have done my homework researching their program, but I am actually more interested in knowing which questions will help me create a rank list the best reflects my personal and professional aspirations.
I made the mistake of not asking (not knowing) the "right" questions when applying to medical school -- and unfortunately, I ended up in a very malignant program. I guess we learn from our mistakes -- and I suspect many of the questions that were relevant for medical school applications (For example, "What is your education philosophy?") will also be relevant for residency. Any advice?
Thanks, and Good Luck on interviews!!!
