For schools like UCLA that require a Stats course - does it matter if you haven't already taken the class when you send in your app? I mean, would you get automatically rejected if you don't have it listed on the AMCAS? cuz I really don't want to take a class if i'm not going to get in there anyway.
Any advice?
Thanks! You all are so cool!!

I don't think you would be automatically rejected wihtout it. On the AMCAS application you can include coursework in which you are expected to enroll in prior to entering medical school.

a friend of mine recently got into ucla without having taken calc or stats in college, she said she would take them over the summer before enrolling. This way if she decides to go to ucla she'll take them, if not, she doesn't have to.
