Do you need a Bachelor's to apply to orthodontics?

I'm in the UOP 5 year dental program, which only gives me the DDS at the end of 5 years.
Do you have to have the BS and DDS in order to apply for a specialized field in dentistry, or can I apply with only my DDS?

Just DDS can get you in if you have the grades in dental school.
