Do you need to know long division?

For anyone that has taken the DAT, would you recommend brushing up on long division, for the gen. chem section in particular? Has anyone had to do long division on the DAT that you can remember?

EDIT: For example, I am working one of Chad's gen. chem problems right now that requires me to do 51/68. I have to choose between 0.75 and 0.88. How might I do this without a calculator? Even if I simplify and round it to 5/7... is there a way to work that out?

Simply reduce both numerator and denominator by 17 and you get 3/4 0.75
Notice that 51 = 3*17 and 68= 4*17.
