How often do you review material from old courses?
I think it is hard to do b/c your current course is always setting the agenda i e you need to learn sooo many details that it is hard to take the time off to review let's say biochemistry when you are studying neuroscience.

At the same time I think the way med school is structured is really useless.
You scram all semester, write your exam, and then beging with new stuff, while quickly forgetting the old course.

I agree. I've taken the advice of some upperclassmen: Pick a few good resources and stick with em. ex/ I annotate in BRS Physio during my physio lecture. Although I will review class notes for the school exam, I expect to just review my BRS come boards time, or anytime I want to review physio (I will not go back to my class notes at all, after the exam for that material, except for maybe upcoming major exams)
