The only reason I would think you would need to is if you have a real active 'pre-dental' program and advisor at your school. I'm sure you know this but one of the requirements to apply to any medical type progam is letters of recommendation. Typically they require them to be from bio/chem professors but they could also come from a committee made up dental advisors/professors at your school. If you have this type of process at your school then I would recommend sending it to your prehealth advisor. This is information they'll need in writing your recommendation. I came from a school that did not have any type of health committee and my adviser was nearly nonexistent. I made it through the application process fine on my own. You can always request your results sent to them in the future if for some reason they'll need it.

i havent talked to my pre-health advisor yet,
but should i still check yes for that quesiton box? and let my pre-health advisor know later on?

Its been awhile since I went through that process but if it doesn't cost to send it to them... why not? If it does, then flip a coin. I really don't see it mattering.

I mentioned that to my pre health advisor and she said I didn't have to. The unofficial score report would be fine. I also had previously registered for the DAT and selected to not have my scores sent to my advisor since I had not met with one yet.
