This is a quick question I tried searching but I couldn't find any DO threads. How do you go about documenting the hours because I have 650 at a hospital and equal amounts in internships but I also have 200 or so scattered around non med but I don't remember signing anything or documenting them ever. So is it not something I can put on my app? I also have things like captain for rugby but it isn't documented anywhere

It doesn't really matter if it's documented yourself, just be sure you have people who supervised you that can verify your time either verbally or on paper.

For many people it is impossible to figure out the amount of hours. I just gave estimations for all of my activities by figuring out around how much time per week and amount of weeks involved. It honestly doesn't matter if it's 200 hours or 500 hours. Just make sure you can talk extensively about it and fully understand what you are doing and what you are getting out of it.

That is what I figured I just know that some of the things such as habitat for humanity was almost 3 years ago. I have the info written down because of resume i HAD to do for an assignment for one of my classes otherwise I would be bsing the time

This is true. I had to estimate. I used the lower estimates, but honestly as long as its close it should be fine. While I think there is a difference between 200 hrs and 500 hrs, there probably isn't a difference between say 200 and 300, and as gmcguitar4 said, the most important thing is that you can describe it well/meaningfully in an interview.
