Does anybody else have a class that doesn't have set exam dates?

This is driving me crazy. One of my classes has no set dates for our exams, our teacher will just drop it on us a week before the test. I am finding this extremely infuriating when trying to schedule interviews. It's always like, "I dunno if I should do that day. There stands a good probability that we might have a test." Oh well, if this affects my grades negatively hopefully I will be able to explain the situation later on.

my biostatistics is similar. this week he told us we have an exam to take in the following week. i already have 2 cell bio and music exams in one day next week. now 3 exams and 2 quizzes in one week + the homework and doing prelabs for the 3 lab courses that i am taking.

i think that the unscheduled exam could turn out to be a good thing. if you know what days you will miss for the interviews i would talk to your professor and see if he can avoid giving an exam on those days.

That's a valid point. 🙂 Plus, it should help that my prof is a pretty reasonable guy.
