Due to some seriously f-d up life circumstances, it looks like I'll be taking my post-bac classes at Worcester State U, something that I wasn't even considering until a few days ago. I was wondering if anybody on this board is going to, or went to, school there (either as an undergrad or a post-bac). If so, I'd love to hear some opinions: are there good professors? Was the pre-med advising any good? Did you get into med school from there, or know anyone who did?

Thanks.

dont know much about worcester u, but have you looked at clark at all? i feel like they might have a better reputation... but if its between worcester u and nothing, go for it. :luck:

Thanks for the advice. I'm already familiar w/ the schools in Worcester, and for a variety of reasons (family issues, finances), it looks like Woo State it is...I know very little about this school (I'm not from Massachusetts), so I just want to make sure it doesn't suck. Anyone?

did you end up getting into med school after graduating from worcester state?

i had the "physiological psych" and "sensation/perception" professor whenever he was a visiting prof at my school. really smart scientist, effective teacher and all around cool guy. i cant speak to his classes at worcester but i would still recommend trying to take a class with him.

My mom was an accounting major there. Apparently the school is expanding and on the rise these days?
