General Admissions & OTCAS does anyone know if all schools will not review app until prereqs are completed?

One of my schools emailed me saying if i am taking a prereq this fall (which i am, statistics) my app will not be reviewed until my prerequisite course is in(which will be in december- so much for applying early) does anyone know if all schools with rolling admissions do this? Also, because my app won't be reviewed until then, is it a good idea to retake the GRE? I didn't do so well the first time.

I think that is pretty unusual. I have applied to several rolling admissions schools without my pre-reqs complete. Most just require that they be finished before the program starts in the summer or fall.

That is pretty unusual, most schools say that pre reqs can still be in progress when u submit. Retaking the GRE won't hurt tho. I took it three times, smh.
