Does anyone know of any good sites/apps to learn Mongolian?

Yep but they don't have it. Meanwhile their Klingon course is 1/3 done......

If it's simply because he's interested, then if say go for it. I don't think it would have much practical use outside of going to Mongolia and maybe volunteering there.

Do you mean you think my question is inappropriate? The reason OP wants to learn allows me to recommended better, more appropriate resources. Some are geared towards recreational use of a language and some tools are geared towards more specific aspects of the language such as business and medicine. I wasn't judging OP.

They are some Peace Corps resources that are usually pretty good and they are ebooks so you can print them out. They have phrase books and other stuff.
