I want to say a thousand or so, but I'm not sure. I think eventually about 100+ matriculate

Finally another thread for us forgoteen souls. Yeah i thing CalBeE is correct. Only about 10% of "foreign" students do get to matriculate. Anyway, back on a lighter note, could accepted international students update us on which schools they got accepted to. Does getting an interview pretty much mean that one has overcome the huddle of not having a green card and is now placed on comparable level with US citizens. At this moment i really do need some encouragement. Thanks CalBeE for heads up!

From the acceptance stats on US. News, it seems like once you're at the interview stage, your chance of acceptance is about the same as US citizens. (Range from 25-50% for most schools that accept foreign students).

Some schools though, do interview some foreign students but accepted very few, I won't count too much on these schools (Namely, U Penn, which interviewed 10+ but accepted None last year).

Remember that more than 100+ are accepted, but not everyone matriculate, most likely b/c of financial problems.
