according to MSAR 2003-04:
number of apps interviewed:
in state: 425
out of state: 1254
total: 1679

new entrants:
in state: 82
out of state: 155
total: 237

in state: 82/425 = 19.3%
out of state: 155/1254 = 12.4%
total: 237/1679 = 14.1%

just because i took a few minutes to type this out, i'm not going to delete this post, but look below to solidgold for a more appropriate answer because my stats only account for the new entrants, not the accepted. thanks solid!

From USNEWS (Premium Service) on Grad schools:

MCPH:

Fall 2001 Admissions Statistics

Applied Interviewed Accepted Enrolled
Total: 7,387 1,627 861 237
In state: 868 380 261 80
Out of state: 6,519 1,247 600 157
Women: 3,678 801 461 123
Minorities: 3,209 719 359 104
International: 0 0 0 0

Acceptance rate: 11.7%

But according to the numbers, if you get interviewed, your chances of acceptance are 861/1627= .53----> 53%

Sorry for the messy looking format for the numbers, it did not look like that when I wrote it out, ad I don't know how to make it look more neat.

also, it occurred to me that, if anything, drexel is going to be a bit easier to get into this year, since app #'s may be down with their secondary being sent out so late. by the time i got their secondary, i had gotten a few interviews, and as they were fairly low on my list i decided it wasn't worth the $75 to apply, and i imagine i'm not the only one.

Unless you got an acceptance already, I would still apply to a wide range of schools, this one included. Drexel is a decent school located in a good location and would be a fine "backup" school if things don't turn out well with the schools higher on your list.
