Does anyone know what this asterisk means?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I could be wrong but asterisks are sometimes used to denote students that graduated with distinction/honors etc. Usually there is a key or legend that states what exactly it means. I would guess it means graduating with honors or something along those lines.

thank you. But it doesnt have a legend on that document for some reason. Is it because they scored in the top percentile for the USMLE maybe?

I have heard honey badger estrogens run rampant among M1s in many of the top schools. They increase focus, intensity, furriness, and incisor size by 454%.

seriously? why would you post something as a response that has NOTHING to do with the inquiry? If you don't know then don't post. That's just silly. Thank you.
