Do the calculus questions include integration, or just differentiation?
Also, for anyone who scored in the 90th percentile or higher, what were your actual scores for each section?

Thank you.

Yes, you need to know how to do both. You also need to know how different derivatives relate to each other, how to interpret a graph or table of functions and their derivatives, and how to do these things fast. I think the math part can be the hardest part of the exam due to the time. I was in the 89th percentile in quantitative ability.

I studied for the math section just like the other parts of the exam, took practice tests under timed conditions and tried to learn how to manage time. I had a pretty good idea on what type of questions they were going to ask and figured how I was going to approach the problems. I'm pretty decent at math but had not taken a calculus class in like 6 years, so I had to teach myself all the basic integration and differ. stuff again. I remember there being some problems on there that I at least knew were calculus based, but had no idea and time to solve them. The best way I think you can get through the math section is to practice with time, and if you come to a question you don't know how to start, don't waste 30 seconds trying to figure it out, and simply come back to it after you've solved all the other problems you know how to do. I probably guessed on about 5-7 of those questions on the January exam.

acetyl what did you score in the math section on the hartcourt practice tests?

75-99 percentile on the Harcourt practice tests. I don't think those percentile rankings are correlated with the real test, though, so I wouldn't worry too much about it if it said you were lower.
