Does CVS report mileage to IRS

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Mileage pay is NOT taxable...UNLESS you submit for it more than 60 days after you incurred it (at which point you have failed to achieve the "reasonable period of time" requirement, and your reimbursement is deemed taxable income). Submit those mileage reimbursements right after you incur them.

CVS pays for mileage? Is this for floaters? Never knew about this.

Back in 2013 cvs sent me to work at a store 2.5 hours away and gave me a hotel for the weekend. I kept asking how to get paid/reimbursed and weekend staff kept telling me wait till monday. I was allowed to expense $20/day in food, hotel room, and mileage. On monday i turn over receipts to store manager and she flips out over the $450. She told me she didnt have enough cash and told me to wait until she goes to bank. Had to waste over an hour hanging around the small town in middle of nowhere.
