Does elementary biochemistry count as biochem requirement?

I'm not a bio major, and I'm looking for biochem classes in the area, and I found this:

It has Ochem I as a pre-req. Will this count for schools as a biochem requirement?

I think this would cover it. Although i'm not guru. You should try asking the school/schools that have biochem as a requirement.

I'm by no means an expert, but I believe most schools (that require biochem) want bio-chem completed at the 300 or 400 level. Not sure though.

My gut instinct is that schools would want the recommendation/requirement covered by a higher-level course, not an introductory or survey-type course. I agree with rcheech7.
