Does Genetics count as an advanced biology pre-req?

Hi,

I am a bit lost on if genetics I counts as a biology course. At the university I attend the course falls under 'GENE' instead of 'BIOL.'

Classify based on content, not by course listing. When in doubt, classify it in such a way that benefits you the most (as long as there aren't too many mistakes, they're not going to delay your application).
