Does getting a background check indicate acceptance?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently on the waitlist for a few schools and I was just wondering if getting a certaphi background check means that one of these schools has accepted me.

I have not received a background check email yet but I'm very anxious and I guess if I haven't received an email for the background check it is clear that none of these schools have accepted me yet.

Also for those of you who received acceptances after January 15th did you reciece your acceptances first or your background check email first?

Not necessarily...waitlisted triggers the background check as well as acceptances.
