don't think so.

I received a post card saying that my application has been put on hold at GW, does anyone know what that means for GW, exactly?

Was this pre-secondary?

nope, i don't know what on hold means and i haven't received one

when was your file completed?

I first received a post-card notifying me that my application was complete, and then a few days later (all in late July) I received a post-card that read:

Thank you for your sincere interest in our Doctor of Medicine Program. Your file has been reviewed and placed on hold. In the event that your status changes we will contact you immediately.

Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

XXXXX

Now I do have a couple of problems with the post-card. First, I think they could have put it in an envelope; this information is not my mailman?s business. Second, I am not an English major, but shouldn't it be "your patience and understanding ARE greatly appreciated."

So, again I am wondering if anyone know exactly what a hold at GW means?

Thanks

i think being placed on hold means that they don't want to interview you right now but you may get an interview invite later.....not quite good enough for an interview but certainly not rejectable........i'm not 100% sure on this so don't quote me.....

has anyone else NOT received a secondary from them? I know this has been discussed before, but I even emailed them and they said they will send me it when they get my primary. I have been verified by AMCAS since June 5th, so I'm sure they have received my primary. Should I bug them again??
