Even when Im not a freshmen? I'm just taking these as electives not for my major but I don't really want to take upper classes in topics I don't have too much interest in. Also there are pre reqs involved as well. For example I'm planning to take art 100 next semester. However I did take art 104 a year ago. Upper level classes are geared towards art majors and Im just taking this class to fulfill my credits past minimum after my biology classes

Wouldn't a good mcat score help balance things out in a situation like that?

i hope it doest look bad cuz i have done it every semester lol.

If you need to fulfill things like history or english requirements for your school, or even just take a class or two you find interesting, there is no reason to worry about whether the class is a 100 level or not. However, if you only take the bare minimum upper level classes required for your major and make it a point to take as many 100 level classes in other fields as possible, yeah that might make you look a little weak. My advice take plenty of upper level science classes and then just take whatever you find most interesting/are required to take to graduate.

I'm sorry, I just find it funny that Dwayne Johnson is asking about how many art classes he can take.

To be competitive for med school, all your courses need to be over 9000

In all seriousness, why would you want to take a bunch of entry-level courses as an upperclassman? I always hated the 100-level courses and didn't find them any easier than higher-levels.

Just do what everyone does. Cherry pick a bunch of nonsense electives that are guaranteed A's. My senior year I took a class about witches with no tests or papers, a film class and a capstone -- it was a breeze. All of them were 300-level or above.

You get the first choice of classes as you move through college for a reason...so you can take all the easy ones and make the peons (Sophomores) take the crappy ones.

I managed to find plenty of easy A 300 level courses in other majors that I could take to fulfill elective requirements. Most of them were criminal justice, women studies, psychology, and sts courses.
