Does it matter where you take your pre-reqs?

I'm going to graduating SFSU soon and am deciding to pursue a MPH before applying to med school. Health education is my major so I didn't have too much time to take a lot of the science pre-reqs so is it normal and/or acceptable to perhaps take my pre-reqs at the school i'm doing my MPH at or perhaps a CC?

Some people will say that there's a stigma with taking your pre-reqs at a CC. No idea if that matters, but that's what some people seem to say.

crap. i went to CC for 2 yrs and finished majority of my pre-reqs there (they were my major's requirements, too).

i meant the latter =[ but i really dont know what impact it will have on my app >.<
