does Ptcas email the schools our apps?

Mine were mailed out yesterday and I have already received emails from three schools telling me they have them and to submit the supplemental. I thought they were mailed but I guess they are emailed?

PTCAS also offers PT schools software that allows them to download applications once a week. The software then allows the admissions committee to review the application.
