How closely does the Rapid Review Path book by Goljan follow his audio lectures?

Dude, you either read or listen. Have you ever tried to read a book in a movie theatre? It doesn't work. For Goljan, you have to put 100% concentration on what he is talking about.

Can somebody please let me know anyway.

No, you need the 500+ (300 for general and 200 for systemic) page underground notes floating around on EBAY. Once you find a picture of BigFrank's thumb with the 267, you know you found the right one.

Not true, his rapid review book does follow his audio but not as good as with his lecture notes. But they do correlate. This p53 guy seems to be trying to spread false info.

Bo, I've listened to Goljan more times than you have. Go back and listen to his vitamin section on Day 2 and tell me if you can follow a corresponding section in rapid review pathology. Once you come back, I would like a full apology for your ignorance. Until you can refute my premise, SHUT UP and turn around with that tail stuck between your legs.

Can we please get some feedback from a third party. One person is saying the audio does not correlate with the Rapid Review book and another person is saying they do. p53 are you saying there is no correlation at all or not enough correlation as to make it confusing?

The 500 page notes follows the same order. The Rapid Review is an abbreviated version in a different logical order. If you want to read it beforehand it doesn't matter (the same information is there). However, if you want to follow line by line with the audio, RAPID REVIEW does not follow.

p53, if Goljan's notes are 500 pages how can they contain the same info as in the Rapid Review text which is shorter than 500 pages? Just curious.

Buddy, you ask a lot of questions. Anyways, the 500 pages gives the information in more of a sentence form. Look at a BRS Pathology and the way it is written and look at the way Rapid Review is written and you will know what I am talking about.

 nice! Anyways, OP: if you are trying to follow the audio very closely with the text, get the 500 page notes or whatever (I haven't seen those, but it makes sense). All of goljan's stuff is esentially the same. Think about it--do you really think he writes diffrent sets of notes, NO! It's just a matter of editing, and maybe a few extra things in the newed edition, maybe. I use the stars book, and it goes along very well with the audio. But, that doesn't mean that when he's explaining why the death rate in hospitals is highest in the summer months, that that's in the text. 😀 Overall, the actualy content is in a "read along" typa' manner, if that is what your intent is. Hope this helps.

I think what's more important is whether you need something more like a text, with full structured sentences or a book with an outline format. I chose the stars because it's easier to read, i feel. Plus, it has questions at the end of each ch. Alrite, enough said.
