Does "Science GPA" = BCP GPA???

I am just wondering if when schools refer to science GPA they are actually interested in BCP GPA

I ask this because as of now my BCP GPA only has 5 courses in it (still need biochem, orgo, physics pre reqs to be added in academic update)

because of this my BCP GPA is not too high... and my Science gpa is better since a lot of my courses were kinesiology and human bios

I am concerned my currently low BCP will ruin my chances...

Will schools realize that only a few courses are making up that gpa... and give me a chance by looking at my DAT science scores

Are you finishing these courses now in the summer, or are you about to take them this fall?

biochem, orgo 1/2, and physics 1/2 are a lot of important classes. most ppl at least finish their orgo series and biochem before even applying. physics i can understand waiting till senior year to take. but yeah, there not gonna look at you that highly if your missing half the pre-reqs

I am Canadian and our pre-reqs differ from American... so Biochem and English I was not planning on taking but now will be in the fall, along with physics

I just finished Orgo 1 and 2 this summer

First year i did not know what i wanted to do so took electives of interest... however as I learned what i wanted to do and the pre reqs required all of these courses became my electives... and some have been pushed to my last year...

If i do really well on the DAT science will that help?

The courses in my BCP GPA are from first year and are not the best...!!

I'm from a Canadian university and going into my fourth and final year of my honours program

and yes I know I am missing pre reqs but all my courses (except 4) are sciences still (anatomy, physiology, nutrition etc... though they are from a kinesiology dept so they are considered other science not bios etc... by aadsas)

oh well your situation is obviously very different from the american system. you should call the school and tell them you just finished orgo and see if they would evaluate you again with the new grades.
