Does Step 2 matter for Ophthalmology Fellowship?

I'm a currently MS4 interviewing shortly for residency. I purposely delayed my Step 2 in the context of a good Step 1 score (255, 90th percentile) in case i would have a score drop on Step 2. I've been getting good interviews including Top 10 programs (15+ interviews so far).

However, I finally took Step 2 and my score naturally dropped since it's been a few months: I got a 250, which for Step 2 is like 59th percentile lol. Fortunately, this has no big impact on my residency applications, but I'm wondering if this score will truly harm me in any way down the line?

For example, do competitive ophtho fellowships care about my Step 2 score to any tangible extent? Thanks a lot!

yeah you're screwed, probably will have to stick with comp or do pedi ophtho.
